Embracing Continuous Learning with AI and Automation

This week I wanted to share a recent experience that really drove home the importance of continual learning. I recently joined a new community focused on AI and automation, especially in content generation and lead creation using Make.com. I joined to improve my AI skills, and I quickly realized how much more there was to learn about AI than I expected. The insights I've gained and the new platforms I've discovered have truly blown me away.

This got me thinking: in business and technology, standing still is not an option. We must continually learn and adapt to leverage new capabilities. Keeping up with these rapid advancements should be a top priority for all of us.

New Discoveries in AI and Automation

One exciting result of my recent learning is a simple personal research automation I built using Make.com. By leveraging my new insights about AI, I created a process where I can type the name of a new tool or product into Slack. Make.com, with the help of Perplexity AI, then researches it and stores the information in my Evernote for easy recall later.

Check out the video below for a step-by-step guide. As always, I'm available for one-on-one Zoom sessions to help you build similar automations with your Make account.

These tools are game-changers for productivity and efficiency.

Spotlight on AI Tools

Here are a couple of standout tools I've been exploring:

Perplexity

Perplexity AI is an answer engine that differs from traditional search engines like Google or Bing. It performs web research and brings back the most relevant data to answer your questions. Whether it's researching a new tool or generating content, Perplexity has been a massive time-saver for me.

Claude

Claude is another fantastic tool that operates as a chatbot-style AI. You can ask it questions, upload files for analysis, and even get assistance in creating detailed prompts for other AI tools. It's been incredibly helpful in crafting precise AI prompts.

Keep Learning and Exploring

I encourage you to dive into these tools and see how they can enhance your work. Both Perplexity and Claude offer free accounts, and upgrading to a paid account unlocks their full potential.

Stay updated by joining communities, attending webinars, and following industry leaders. If you're interested in joining the AI community I'm a part of, let me know! I run group co-building calls twice a week, and I'd love to see you there.

Continuous learning in AI and automation is crucial for staying ahead. I'd love to hear about your own discoveries and experiences, so feel free to share!

Let's keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI and automation!
